SMN Drama Dept has hit it out of the park again!! What an entertaining, fun, fabulous evening! I thought Sweeney Todd, and Thoroughly Modern Millie, oh, and Hairspray, couldn?t be topped, but this was great!
I am never more proud to be a SMN alumnus than when attending these productions. I would single people out for an extra accolade, but I would have to list everyone. I am coming again on Saturday!

I just went back and saw my post from freshman year, and everyone who posted for drama class. We all said it sounded like it was going to be a sweet deal, and turns out...it was. We stuck with it hardcore. This department made high school a fantastic experience. I miss the department and all of the teachers so much, and hope you're all doing well. Thank you for all that you have done.

p.s. it's a toupee.

My husband and I saw the production of Hairspray over this last weekend, and after seeing it, I now understand why your theater department gets national attention!! It was wonderful and difficult to believe that this was a high school production!!

CONGRATULATIONS to all your cast and crew on this production.
We will continue (even after our kids are no longer students) to support the theater department. Can't wait until your next production.

I attended your recent production and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was the best high school production I've seen, and I'm 72!! Everything was excellent - cast, music, sets, dancing... I know you have a great tradition there, and I can see why.

As you well know, these productions take WORK, WORK, and more WORK.
Combined with talented students this combination produces wonders. I especially liked the page "Why Theatre Education is Important." I will show the program to our director and others working on our production.

Please put me on your mailing list for future productions there. What a great way to spend time involved (as a member of the audience) in the company of such a positive and uplifting production. And I do well remember the 60s!!

Please extend my congratulations to everyone involved in this production.

Last night my husband and I went to Hairspray and we just want to thank you for all you do in leading the students in putting on such a fine performance! It was a delightful play, involving so many students and staff, and everyone did such a wonderful, professional job! SMN has an excellent reputation for fine arts/theatre and this performance keeps the theatre reputation right at the top. Thanks to you and all those involved with the fine work you have done and are doing!

Hello, just a quick comment to everyone involved in last night's opener of "Hairspray".

I took my 4th grade daughter (who attends Bluejacket-Flint) and her friend (who attends 4th grade Catholic school) to the opening night last night and we just wanted to let you know it was absolutely SUPERB !

There aren't enough words to describe the enthralled looks on the faces of my daughter & her friend. I think all of you just might have inspired two future thespians !

Everything was just top-notch, from the performers, to the music, to the costumes......a true professionalism. I can't hardly believe you are still in high school, the caliber of the play equals that of the KC Rep !

If it's okay, I just want to make special mention to the young actor playing the part of Mrs. Turnblad: you are incredibly talented and I have not laughed that hard in a long, long time. To quote my young daughter: "You rock !"
